Overview
LNX-506M-24V is a Modbus converter that connects to RS-485 via LAN. It converts protocols from Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU/ASCII. The device can be operated as either a master or a slave. This allows Modbus devices to be connected over Ethernet. Modbus is used for both serial and Ethernet devices, but the physical connection and protocol are different, requiring protocol conversion for interconnection. LNX-506M-24V enables integration of Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII networks. It supports a wide range of power input from DC 5 to 30V, and can be powered by DC 24V, which is commonly used in control panels.

Direct communication between multiple LNX-506M-24V without PCs offers you to connect separated a RS-485 networks. By using cross cable, one to one connection is also available.
